We have been donating and offering discounts to our troops for years. We use to take names of our servicemen and women, and send customers donations to them also. Then the list grew too long. We were no longer able to send jerky to everyone that we added to our list.
Not wanting to disappoint anyone, we came up with another idea!
- If you know an active duty serviceman or woman that you would like us to send jerky to, please submit his/her name and tell us why we should send jerky.
- If you are active duty, you can also submit yourself or your unit.
How to submit: Simple click on “Leave a Comment” above, and complete the form. You must include your name and email address so we can contact you if your submission is selected.
On the 30th of each month we will choose one story out of those submitted that month to send a 20 0z Heroes Pack.
My husband, Brett Berry is on his first deployment to Kuwait. We love that we’ve eaten a variety of meats, and we love that House of Jerky allows us to add animals like Kangaroo and Buffalo to our list of animals tasted. We’ve gotten jerky from your store both times we’ve been to Florida for vacations, and I think him receiving jerky while he’s deployed, would help him feel like he were on vacation!

My friends in my unit enjoyed the care package of jerky that you sent over to me. It went so fast and we are missing it already. I have only heard good things from everybody who had some. The kangaroo was a very nice surprise package. One of the soldiers does not eat jerky, but they tried the Kangaroo just so they could say that they havve eaten Kangaroo. The same soldier was very impressed with it. You have a customer for life with me and hopefully you get some more orders from soldiers in my unit over here. Again, thank you so much for the care package from all of us in D Co. 1BSTB in South Korea.

I thought I would enter my division from the USS John C. Stennis CVN-74. We are currently on our second 8 month deployment since I have been here in 2011. We are stationed in Washington State and have only been there for about 4 months total. We were all surprised when we were told we needed to come back here. Our Carrier was the only one available to at the time, and hopefully we are going home in May. We currently have been in the Middle East since October, and stop in port about once a month. I have had a crazy craving for Jerky, and I was looking around for a place that sells it online and I came across this! The guys in our division would probably devour this, and then order some more!
